Grayton watches propose a simple clean design powered by a Seiko automatic movement as a value argument that’s tough to beat.
Designed in New York, Grayton Automatic Watches can be found in iterations that range from classic looks held in place with thick leather straps, to sporty and colorful dial versions with equally playful NATO type woven straps. Metal bracelets are also available for those that prefer the feel of steel.
The Classic collection features a solid colored and somewhat vintage inspired dial while the Radiance series showcases a gradient look and are both offered on any of three size stainless steel cases; 36, 40, and 44, so finding the right style and size for your own wrist won’t be a problem. Gold plated versions add a touch of class, while the high polished steel brings a more casual feel to the wrist.
Thankfully, Grayton has taken the extra measure to make every version of their watches water resistant to at least 10atm so a casual swim won’t harm your watch. In these styles the rating is more of a testament to the build quality than any preclusion to use under water – and that’s just fine.
Strong lume on the dial markers stands out in the dark and the rock solid Seiko NH-35 automatic movement is visible through the back is finished simply without excess extravagance.
With watches priced between $225 -$275 (with the exception of limited editions), Grayton watches are certainly worth your time.
